Stockpiling Gravel @ RED EARTH

Stockpiling Gravel @ RED EARTH

Stockpiled over 200,000 yds. gravel in just over one month run 24hrs./day.

This is quite incredible considering it had to be hauled out of the swamp spruce on bush roads and then
more distance on gravel roads. It was probably over an hour per round for a truck.

It stayed very cold almost the whole time.(I remember it being -53 degrees or -56 degrees one day.)

This shop was put up and taken down just for this job.

Run John Deere 772BH six wheel drive grader with Sanvik blades scratching on the haul road
trying to make traction for the trucks so they could keep their speed up.(To keep production up.)

First had to plow snow and build parts of road in to the bush. Also brushed and repiled burning brush piles
with a D-8, and ripped gravel with a D-9.
